Annual Set Swimming Gala Year 3-6 (H) 2-4pm
All Year 3-6 pupils will be taking part in this Gala. Please see downloads for PROGRAMME.
Spectators are encouraged to attend but please be aware there is no seating available.
Children will have the option to go home straight after the Gala at approximately 4.00pm if you intend to spectate. Tennis hobby will continue for those who usually take part (unless you would prefer to opt out). Tea and bus provision will be provided as normal for those who require it.

It was a fabulous sight to see every child from Year 3-6 competing in our Annual Set Gala. With all children entering two individual events and a relay, they all had the opportunity to experience competitive swimming in graded races. The gala kicked off with the Individual Medley races which saw our fastest four qualifiers battling hard to achieve a place on the podium. Year 7/8 pupils also had the option to enter this event in their respective age category. Congratulations to the following:
- U13 Girls - Annabelle J (new record)
- U13 Boys - Charlie T
- U11 Girls - Charlotte J (new record)
- U11 Boys - Henry E
- U9 Girls - Harriet T
- U9 Boys - George C
Swimmers with the fastest heat times in each event were also congratulated on the podium with the winner receiving a medal. A special mention to Harriet T who also set a new record for U9 Girls’ Backstroke!
Set relays were as competitive as ever but it was White set who were victorious with Blue set coming runners up. Well done to every pupil for swimming their hearts out!
