The As had a really competitive game, the score not reflecting their play. There was great work collectively as a team applying pressure and creating many opportunities to turn possession. Through-court transition at times was a little rushed and rather than working the ball to goal and making an extra pass, from shooter to shooter to release the pressure on our shot at goal, we sometimes forced the ball in the shot from far. Witham were more accurate at post and managed to pull away. Fantastic last match and team effort from all! Opposition player Charlotte, well done!
The U11 B and C netball teams headed to Witham Hall.
The Bs played wonderfully from beginning to end, with the ball moving smoothly down the court. Witham made it difficult for us, but our defence held firm, resulting in a 5–5 draw. April and Tallulah received player of the match awards.
The Cs performed admirably as a team, supporting one another brilliantly. The game was quite even, with both teams vying for the win. The final team score was eight all. Tara was named Player of the Match.
