Starting the week with a round robin hockey festival with Burton Hathow. St Hugh’s split into three mixed teams (Red, White and Blue) and we welcomed a team from Burton Hathow. We had two games running parallel to each other across the pitch and this allowed for maximum game time for all teams involved. All teams started off quite slowly but developed quite quickly through the afternoon. The U9 boys were able to demonstrate some great passing and dribbling, resulting in some great goals being scored by all the teams. It was a pleasure to see the U9 boys implementing the skills they have learnt in games and put them into practice in some competitive fixtures. Well done to all the boys involved.
