  • U9 Girls - 3rd Place

An army of St Hugh’s runners travelled to Rutland Water on a glorious sunny Friday afternoon! With girls and boys teams from U8-U11 competing, we also had an army of parents supporting the children which made for a lovely spectacle.

This event is hosted by Brooke Priory and is always very much enjoyed by the pupils. This course is very different to most of the races we attend - long grass, downhill, uphill, uneven ground and so on! Despite this, every runner gave it their best shot and it was amazing to watch the determined faces on the final incline towards the finish.

Congratulations to every competitor for completing this touch course and a special mention to our three medal winners - Beau (3rd Place in U10 Boys), Rory P (6th Place in U11 Boys) and Hollie F (6th Place in U9 Girls). In addition to this, we were delighted to have our U9 Girls team finish 3rd overall. The team included Hollie (6th), Cecily (11th), Annie (14th) and Abi (36th).

U8 Girls

An impressive run by the Year 3 girls with two of our runners finishing top 10! Valentina in 7th and Lucy in 9th.

U8 Boys

U9 Boys

A superb top 10 finish for Charlie S (9th).

U10 Girls

With our U10/11 hockey team at IAPS this week, we only had two individual runners competing this week. Annabelle B and Verity B, who finished in close proximity in 26th and 27th place.

U10 Boys

Another two top 10 finishes for Beau (3rd) and Edward R (9th).

U11 Girls

Genevieve ran as a individual in this category and crossed the line in an impressive 7th place, just missing out on a medal position!

U11 Boys

A top 10 finish and medal position for Rory P this week (6th).
