Forces and Pumpkins!
In Science, Year 5 has been investigating forces and what’s needed to get objects moving. This morning they visited Bell's Pumpkin Patch where they enjoyed watching the famous pumpkin cannon in action! They had fun investigating elastic potential, tension and thrust using a potato catapult. The girls were very happy to be the winners of the tug of war contest!
