This week, Year 4 carried an experiment in the laboratory to demonstrate the journey of the food into our body. We used bananas, cereals, cutlery, food colouring, piping bags and tights to simulate the organs and functions of our digestive system. This was a very hands on and practical experiment where we crushed, squeezed, mixed acids (food colourings) and got messy, all we love to do in the lab!
