Swimming Champ
A fantastic achievement for one of our former pupils, Harry M, who has qualified to swim at both the Swim England Summer Nationals and British Summer Championships.
Harry attended St Hugh’s in Nursery and, after two years living in the USA, re-joined us for Prep.
A keen swimmer while here at St Hugh's, Harry has continued to impress in the pool. Competing in recent qualifying competitions, Harry performed brilliantly taking home a number of medals and trophies:
Lincolnshire Amateur Swimming Association - County Championships - February 2022
- 8 Gold medals
- 3 Silver medals
- 5 Junior Championship trophies.
East Midlands Regional Swimming Championships - held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield in May 202
- Harry won 4 medals from his 9 events.
- Gold - 50m backstroke
- Silver - 50m Butterfly
- Silver - 100m backstroke
- Bronze - 200m backstroke
- Placed Fourth - 100m Freestyle, 50m Freestyle.
Harry is now busy preparing with his Club, Louth Dolphins, for the British Championships in July and the English Nationals in August.
