Y7’s Visit to the Houses of Parliament
Yesterday Year 7 pupils were treated to an online, live link to the Houses of Parliament. Staff from the UK Parliament delivered a live session which covered an introduction to:
- How UK Parliament works
- What MPs do
- Members of the House of Lords role
- How laws are made
Year 7 thoroughly enjoyed the lesson which stimulated quite a few in-class debates. Thank you to Mr Jeffery for organising and Mr Wyld for stepping in to take the lesson.
