Year 6 Residential

Year 6 had a fabulous time on their residential.

Day one saw the children learn how to to rig a boat before sailing off into the bay. The children all showed great teamwork and communication and most managed to stay dry! After a picnic lunch, they learnt how to play foot golf before finishing the day with a fish and chip supper in the park. Everyone was ready to head to the evening’s accommodation and enjoy garden games before settling down for a good night’s sleep.

On day two, everyone woke to the smell of bacon and enjoyed breakfast together. The children made their own packed lunches and headed to the Humber Bridge for a 6k walk and the reward of ice cream before rock climbing in the afternoon. It proved a fun afternoon of challenges, races and aiming to beat records!

A fantastic residential – well done Year 6s!
